Youth Entrepreneur Firm of the Year

Sweet Christi's - Christianna Alexander

Christianna Alexander is a spunky 13-year-old entrepreneur with a passion for making soaps that look good enough to eat. She was featured on Good Morning Washington, Good Morning Jacksonville, News 4 Jax and First Coast Living just to name a few, where she talks about running her business as well as being an advocate for kids with learning disabilities.

At a very young age, Christianna struggled with dyslexia and ADHD, which were not diagnosed and ultimately held her back a grade. With her strong community support group, Christianna refused to give up. With her parents’ help, they learned that she loved to bake. She began to bake all sorts of tasty treats but in the process hit a few challenges. The main challenge was the amount of sugar she was consuming. Sugar and ADHD was not a good combination. After much brainstorming, and lots of trial and error, Christianna created “Sweet Christi’s”, a company focused on making all natural-handmade soaps that resemble delectable treats like donuts and cupcakes. It was just as fun to create and she did not have to worry about consuming any sugar.

Christianna’s views her disability as a blessing, and her mission in life is to be an ambassador for children everywhere who suffer with learning disabilities. She wants them to know that there isn’t anything that exists that can hold them back once they make up their mind to succeed. In addition to running her company, Christianna is also a philanthropist. She hosts food drives, teach girls STEM classes and raises money for a local nonprofit.
